Cruise with us to Kawau Island and explore the beauty and interesting sights that make this island so unique. One of the larger islands of the Hauraki Gulf, Kawau has so many sheltered bays to explore.
Landing at Mansion House Bay, wander the grounds (mind the peacocks!) and through the famous mansion, and discover some of the history of this famous island.
From Mansion House Bay, stroll an easy track (watch out for the wallabies!) along the foreshore to the old copper mine — remnants of days gone by and the perfect setting for a picnic lunch. Alternatively walk on to School House Bay and get picked up by your skipper to ferry you across to Kawau Boating Club in Bon Accord Harbour for lunch on the wharf.
After lunch, jump back in the boat and we’ll motor to a sheltered bay to spend the afternoon swimming, paddle-boarding and relaxing before cruising back to the city. An amazing family-friendly Auckland experience on the water, exploring one of the most picturesque islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
