Ultimate Charters is an independently owned and operated specialist charter business.
We have a team of skippers, deckhands and crew with over 50 years combined experience in delivering outstanding fishing and charter boat experiences.
Our goal is to deliver nothing but outstanding experiences in the beautiful surroundings of the Hauraki Gulf and New Zealand's incredible coastal waters.
Ultimate Charters supports sustainable fishing — we all depend on the ocean, which is home to the greatest abundance of life on our planet. We encourage our customers to only take home what they really need, releasing the rest.

We love taking our awesome clients and friends out for a fish in the Hauraki Gulf and we're all blessed to have such a strong snapper fishery. But the Hauraki Gulf and its 50-odd islands has so much more to explore and enjoy than just fishing it — and we want to share some of these magic places with you.
Ultimate Charters vessels are licensed by the Department of Conservation (DOC) and the Auckland Council to visit pest-free conservation islands and other islands in the Hauraki Gulf. We are fully committed to ensuring pest-free islands remain pest-free. Find out more about our pest-free pledge.
